Job Description
Implement and manage a program safety plan in accordance with EM 385-1-1 Safety and Health Requirements Manual.
• Positively interface between the Client and the Contractor’s project teams and resources.
• Implement accident and loss prevention programs.
• Conduct regular safety audits of site in order to prevent any incidents.
• Conduct daily safety meetings with on-site personnel (toolbox talks).
• Develop plans, procedures and programs to meet the specific safety needs of the Contractor.
• Maintain records of training activities and employee programs, monitoring their effectiveness.
• Maintain records and reporting systems on lost time accidents and property losses.
• Identify loss producing conditions and practices, recommending appropriate corrective action.
