Job Description

A Pastry Chef, or Dessert Chef, bakes various desserts in a kitchen within a restaurant or bakery. Their main duties include following recipes to create pastries, cookies and other baked goods, developing new and unique recipes to feature on the menu and keeping stock of the kitchen's inventory.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • preparing a wide variety of goods such as cakes
  • cookies
  • pies
  • bread etc. ... creating new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers. decorating pastries using different icings
  • toppings etc. to ensure the presentation

Education + Experience

  • Qualification: Diploma
