Job
Title: Digital Content Editor.



Responsibility:
Write
relevant, original, and high-quality content for a range of digital outputs and
target audiences

 

·    
Identify
suitable images to illustrate content that can either be gathered or

commissioned

 

· 
 Write
content for QM's various websites, using the brand voice and style

·  depending on content and context  

  Write
metadata content, including descriptions, alt text, and captions

·    
  Write
content with accessibility and SEO in mind

·    

Apply
editorial guidelines across the OM estate and relevant digital channels

 

·       

Work
collaboratively across QM business units to develop and execute creative  ideas as required

 

·       
Provide
quality assurance for editorial content provided by outside resources

 

·       

Apply
guidelines to enhance search engine optimization for QM web content and ensure
these are applied consistently to newly published materials

 

·       
  implement
and maintain content guidelines and essential quality criteria

 

·       

Contribute
ideas to OM editorial/content tactical delivery to meet business needs and
strategic objectives

Required
profile:

 

·       
 Arabic
Role: BA/BSc in Joumalism, Communications, Arabic, Creative Writing or related
fields

 

·       
English
Role: BA/BSc in Journalism, Communications, English Literature, Creative
Writing or related fields

 

·
 3+
years of relevant experience

 


Essential:

 

· Demonstrated
professional experience as an Arabic copywriter (for Arabic role), English
copywriter (for English role)

 

·       

Demonstrated
excellence in verbal, written, and on-line communication skills

 

·       

Demonstrated
ability to apply brand tone of voice guidelines

 

·       
  Demonstrated
ability to write for different audiences

 

·       

Experience working with content management systems for websites . 



Desired:

Experience
working with museums, cultural organizations or in broadcast

 

Knowledge
and Skills:

Excellent
grammar and proofreading skills
